Mark is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and the founder of Hearts Matters Counseling. Counseling since 2019 and works primarily with men, couples, and families.
An Iowa native, he’s been married 22 years and is a father of three and a grandfather — which shapes how he works with men and marriages. His approach is direct and structured: name what’s actually happening, then build the tools to change it.
Mark brings specific strategies to reduce stress, unleash the personal energy your body has been covering up and ignoring.
Rick has spent over three decades doing one thing in dozens of different rooms: helping people tell the truth about where they actually are.
He's a Certified Business Coach with a master's in theology, decades of pastoral and teaching experience, and is a stand-up comedian. That last one matters more than it sounds. It means Rick knows how to read people, sit in silence, and tell a story that makes a difference.
He's spent his career in the space where biblical truth meets real life — teaching, preaching, coaching, and writing for men who are tired of performing and ready for something honest.
